What kind of music do the Pogues play?

Let's do something a little different today. Sometimes, when I have weird and/or funny interactions with my children, I like to turn those little dialogues into "Lego webcomics," for no other reason than they're fun to make, and my kids love them too.

Today, I thought I would share one with you since it's about introducing music to the next generation.

After giving it some thought—and even talking about it with an Irish friend—it's probably because both styles are pretty high-energy, with many different instruments, varied sounds, and quite festive. Maybe?
