"Contours of Thinking" by Esther Stocker (Awashima)

If you have attended the Setouchi Triennale before, or simply visited Naoshima, there is a good chance that you arrived on the shores of the Seto Inland Sea via Uno Station in Tamano City.

If so, you will probably be familiar with Esther Stocker's art, as she transformed Uno Station (and several other train stations between Kojima and Uno) into works of art.

However, few people know that she has another permanent installation as part of the Setouchi Triennale.

It's located on Awashima and is called 'Contours of Thinking'.
