Radiohead - Creep

There aren't many bands that I've listened to non-stop for several decades and that haven't released a single bad album. Radiohead is one of them.

Anyone who knows and cares about Western music, especially what we call "rock music," will agree that Radiohead is one of the most creative, respected, and "best" bands of the past few decades. In fact, calling them a rock band isn't really accurate. While they definitely started out that way, as you will hear below, they quickly developed their own unique, experimental style, making it difficult to classify them in a given genre. Radiohead's music is simply Radiohead's music, and it's some of the best around.

Radiohead is not currently active, though they have not disbanded. Two of the band's main members have created a "spin-off band" called The Smile, which is essentially a Radiohead side project.

The song I want to introduce today, however, is the first single from their first album, released in 1992. It quickly became a hit, and Radiohead instantly became an important band in the world of rock music. It's called Creep.
