David Bowie - Ashes to Ashes

As I said, I'm going to talk about David Bowie often here. Well, here's another one of his songs.

I don't really remember hearing David Bowie for the first time, but I definitely remember seeing him for the first time. It was when I saw the "Ashes to Ashes" video on TV. It must have been the summer or autumn of 1980 - the song was released in the spring of that year. I was seven years old, and I was hypnotized by these somewhat disturbing images, which were also fascinating. And what this white clown was singing was just so good. It was one of the first times I realized that adult music was something I should pay attention to and that it didn't have to be boring.
